Philippe Grasset is a graduate from La Villette School of architecture (Paris), an experienced architect and designer and the founder of GIDA. After 4 years of store design in the architecture department of Louis Vuitton (Paris), he joined Curiosity. Inc (Tokyo) to work alongside Gwenaël Nicolas. During 5 years, Philippe Grasset developed genuine designs for shops (Moynat), restaurants (Jean Georges Dubai), hotel (5 stars level) and personal residences. A collaboration on a large project in HK in 2017 encouraged him to relocate and start his own studio, GIDA.
GIDA Limited, Grasset Interior Design and Architecture, is a Hong-Kong based company with French origins and Japanese influences. In a nutshell, GIDA provides simple but sophisticated, beautiful but functional solutions for diverse type of spaces (retail, hospitality,private housing). Their approach is a combination of smart layouts, dramatic light, recognizable references and simple techniques to create self-evident spaces.
