The concept behind the Loose Bunch is to connect Freelancers with Entrepreneurs and small companies in Hong Kong. We have a broad understanding of Freelancers as Self-Employed creatives. So we accept all independent workers from all fields, meaning listings for Studios, Companies, and Collectives are accepted.
We don’t accept large companies nor companies solely selling products. Our main focus is to list self-employed service providers in HK.
For now, we focus on developing the directory for Hong Kong. We are looking to expand to other Asian cities afterwards. You are welcome to contact us to discuss your listing requirements. Send us an email at [email protected] and we will see what we can do to help.
You can have more than 1 listing. In some cases it’s possible that you want to register yourself as individual and as a company separately. Bare in mind, it is one listing per form filled, so for several listings you need to submit the form as many times.
Please make sure your listings are sufficiently different otherwise we will only accept one.
Everything is absolutely free. You can list your profile at no costs and it is free for people to find you. We intend to keep that promise as it’s the fundation of the project. In the future, we may introduce optional pro features which may or may not be free.
No we don’t charge anything. That’s what makes us different. Other platforms limit certain details but we don’t do that. Everything you see is what you get!
No we don’t have a plan for an app yet. We may have one later, who knows! The website is built to work well on all modern browsers for desktops, tablets and mobiles. So it is accessible to most people without downloading anything.
We developed the Loose Bunch out of love because we believe that more can be done to reduce the gap between Freelancers and Entrepreneurs in Hong Kong. Our main objective is to succeed in doing just that!
To cover the running costs of this site, we are using moderate advertising.

The Loose Bunch is a creative way to refer to Freelancers. They are independent workers scattered everywhere. They are a bunch of people with various skills enjoying freedom to organise work as they please.
The directory aims at grouping them in one convenient place to be easily found and contacted for opportunities from Entrepreneurs and fellow Freelancers.

2. Register your account.
3. Fill out the 3 minute submission form.
4. Submit the form and wait for us to approve your listing (couple of days max).
Once your listing is approved, it will be online! You’ll get your account details at the time of registration.

You do need to create an account but it only takes a minute. This is so it is easier for you when you create and edit your listing(s).
Don’t worry, we are serious about privacy at The Loose Bunch. And you can delete your listing(s) and account anytime you want.
Once your listing is approved and live on the site, you can edit it freely by logging into your account.
Accounts are created when you register and details sent to you by email at that time.
To access your account, please use the icon in the main menu or the link in the page footer. Follow the steps and you will be directed to your dashboard.
Use the “Lost Password” option to get a new password.
In case you forget the password you setup during the activation process, you can use the Lost Password option to create a new one. (option available on the login page).
For security reasons we don’t store passwords. We recommend you use a strong password as we don’t accept simple ones to prevent security breach.
When you create your listing and upload images it is important they meet the specs stated on the form. If your images are not within the specified weight, they will not be accepted. So make sure to resize your images accordingly before uploading them.
You can delete your listing by logging to your account. Once deleted, listings cannot be recovered so make sure this is what you want to do.
To delete your account entirely, please contact us by email at [email protected], and we will able to do it for you.
Your data is safe providing you use a strong and unique password. We take security seriously and have built the site using quality tools. We also use anti brute force, anti cross scripting software to protect the site. We keep the site up to date and monitor it constantly for suspicious malware.
Despite all this, we are never 100% safe, but since we do not store any payment details and your data is publicly accessible on your listing, there is not much at risk.
We use cookies to provide you with a pleasant experience. We use them for data analytics and to enable account login. You can find out more details on this over on our Privacy Policy page.
